I have 2025 Frontier 36SS. While driving with the door locked the door will “Pop” and then open while underway causing a very serious safely issue.

The only way to stop this from happening is to use the bolt latch portion of the lock. While that’s all good and fine the door latch still fails and then is ajar and not sealed so wind noise and an annoying clatter occurs. 

I tried adjusting the stud the latch clutches and lubricating the lock assembly but still not working. 

Anyone have this issue and devised a solution?
